Take a tour through the unknown northeast of Vietnam. From Hanoi you head to the Ba Be National Park where you take a nice boat ride. Then you travel to the little-visited district of Ha Gaing. This area is characterized by a particularly high karst mountain landscape. You will visit the cattle market in Meo Vac and Dong Van, where you are introduced to the Black Hmong and Black Dzao peoples. In these markets the Hmong men still wear traditional black woven robes which is becoming a much rarer sight. An absolute highlight during this trip is the day hike in the beautiful area around Panhou. You then return by night train to Hanoi. We advise you as to plan the trip so that the first day falls on a Thursday, so you can visit the Sunday market in Meo Vac and Dong Van. You can also visit the Saturday market and Sunday market at Bac Ha. The markets are must-see events that complete your trip through Northeast Vietnam.All our tours are here to inspire you.
