Travellers who will visit Saudi Arabia should take care over their own correct travel documents. Below you find the information about the required travel documents as known at the time of writing.
For a trip to Saudi Arabia, you will need a passport. This passport should be valid for at least six months after returning from the trip. Make sure your passport is in good condition, meaning it's not affected by any kind of tearing, wetting, scratching etc.
All visitors to Saudi Arabia need to require a visa, relevant to the purpose of the trip. Visas can be obtained by the Visa Section of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia or by one of the Consulates in major cities around the world.
Please note:
Tourist from eligible countries can apply for a tourist visa online. The E-Visa will be a one-year, multiple entry visa, allowing tourists to stay up to 90 days in Saudi Arabia.
Tourists from eligible countries (among others the United States of America, United Kingdom or Schengen countries) can also apply for a visa on arrival. Payment for Visa on Arrival is only accepted via Credit Card.
