Private Tour to St. Petersburg and Karelia
On this private Russia trip you will combine an extensive visit to St. Petersburg with a visit to Karelia. After you have visited St. Petersburg, a city that everyone should have visited once in their lifetime, you will travel by express train to Petrozavodsk. From here you will make a trip to Kizhi, located in the lake district and known for its wooden churches. But there is more, you will find beautiful wooden houses, mills, a good picture of the traditional Karelian village life. More of these can be found in Kinerma, one of the most beautiful traditional villages in Karelia.  You will also visit Sortavala and the Valaam monastery. By train you will return to St. Petersburg.
