Altai Winter Tour in International Group

Altai is a unique, fascinating and mysterious land situated on the border of 4 countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia. Altai is a region of beautiful mountains, glaciers and waterfalls. In Turkish language Altai means “golden mountains”. Many people believe that this place was made especially for tourism.
The climate of Altai Region is extremely continental, as Altai is located in the very centre of Eurasia. In winters the land cools down very quickly and the weather is frosty with clear sky and low temperature. Winters last 5-7 months, the coldest one is January (-20?C on the average). In flat steppe lands the number of sunny days is rather high like in the Crimea or in the North Caucasus.
The nature of Altai is absolutely unique, rich in biodiversity of flora and fauna.

Distance: 1950 km by bus, 30 km by snowmobiles/ATVs, 8 km on foot
Age limit: children not younger than 10 years old, children from 10 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult
