Step 1
Always start with the door; This should normally be towards the sun around noon,.
Step 2
Build the wooden woven fence around the door in a circle. It folds out like an accordion.
Step 3
Attach, to strengthen, the long cotton ribbon on the top of the fence.
Step 4
Go stand in the middle of the yurt and lift the curcular ridge-dome up using a stick which ends in a fork. Do not forget to hang up the woolen symbolic decorations!
Step 5
Time to place to red sticks around the cam-dome so together they form the roof. Attach these sticks to the fence with ropes.
Step 6
Place straw mats to embellish and against wind around the wooden fence.
Step 7
The eye wants something too. Place the fencing aaround the beautiful traditional handmade tapestries so that they are visible on the inside of the yurt. Secure with string to the the fence.
Step 8
Than place the cloths to the fence. These are made of felt and because of that warm and resistant against the wind, which can be very cold over here. After, lift the roof tarpaulins with long ropes over the roof. You can not do this alone! It is heavy!
Step 9
And eventually you put the canvas tarpaulins, to protect completely againtst wind and rain.
Step 10
And ready is your yurt! By joining forces, you are ready within an hour.
