This is a complete and satisfying journey that is ideal in the winter months. This Iran tour brings you Off the Beaten Track.You will start the tour in Shiraz, the city of poets, visit Persepolis, and then head to the Persian Gulf region with its Bandari culture. You will visit Minab and the wonderful landschapes on the island of Qeshm, then travel further to the famous citadel in Bam. A further highlight is the Kalut Desert, which is breathtakingly beautiful.
Traveling through small towns, the journey brings you to the Great Salt Desert, which is very different but equally as impressive as the Kalout Desert. Via the attractive town of Kashan and the mountain village of Abyanah you finally arrive in Isfahan, the most beautiful city in the country.
The visit to the Persian Gulf and the desert is ideal for the period between October – April. You can, of course, do the trip in other months as well, but keep in mind that the temperatures in the Persian Gulf and the desert areas get well above 40 C. In the “real” winter months it can cool down considerably at night in the desert.
