The cool Berastagi with old Dutch villas and two active volcanoes is a great place for a stopover. Continue to the beautiful Toba Lake and spend the night in Samosir island in the middle of it. During the stay in Samosir, you can go for walking, cycling, swimming and learning more about Batak culture.
