Adventurous trip to Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Assam

Travel to one of the unknown corners of India. But what a trip: many traditional tribes, ancient 
headhunters, parks, Buddhist monasteries are located in the hills stretching from the Brahmaputra  to the Himalayas.

Start your trip around the tea plantations of Dibrugarh, Assam, then runs into the hills of  Arunachal Pradesh. Here you take a tour along many traditional tribes like the Apatani, Hill Miri,  Nishi and Ao. In Majuli cross the Brahmaputra and then drive into the hills of Nagaland.  Nagaland is known for the "headhunters". Not so long ago the Naga tribes such as the  Konyaks were notorious headhunters. Still the rituals of this are evident in the clothing, festivals and  villages. Then drive back into Assam, where you will visit the Natural Park of Kaziranga. Here lives one of the largest population of Indian rhinos.

Festival tip: In Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland are annual colorful festivals. Then you see walking  around the tribes in their colorful traditional costumes. During these festivals take place there  music and dance performances. We may wish to see if there is a festival to fit in the trip.
