This 18 day tour to Georgia shows you all hidden corners of the country. Of course you spend plenty of time in the buzzling capital of Tbilisi. You will visit the wine region of Kakheti with its vineyards, wine-cellars and ancient monasteries, castles and churches. From here you will enter the remote valley of Tusheti, where you will enter a world as of time stood still. This is one of the most traditional valleys of the Caucasus mountains. You will sleep in ancient stone villages, secured by isolated watch towers.Less remote, but no less beautiful is the wonderful mountain region of Svaneti, with it's own distinctive culture and traditions and high mountains all around.
And what about the centuries old cave towns of Vardzia and Uplistikhe, or Gori, birth place of Stalin? The beautiful churches near Kutaisi, the Borjomi National Park or a stroll along the Black Sea coast.
